Are New Year Eve fireworks good or bad for our planet?

Every single town or village New Year is celebrated with fireworks. To check the benefit or harm of this action to the environment let's learn a little about CARBON CYCLE

Watch the first half of this video as many times as you want and try to get a diagram of the different cycles explained, in small groups. Something like that


Then, check it with watching this one and adding more information, if possible


Compare your group scheme with the others' ones, just in case you can improve it somehow. Try to explain one of the balances per group to see if everybody got the same idea.


Make a mural with pictures to show the Carbon Atoms circulating in the Earth, something like this picture ...


Try to create a kahoot puzzle similar to this one with right answers, three questions per group, minimum. Play the game


Make a list of problems that break the carbon balance and another one with suggested solutions to them. Let other students work matching them.
